Staying at Budget Host Inn had its ups and downs. The room itself, a Queen Room, was appropriately priced but felt outdated. The bed was comfortable enough for a quick sleep. I appreciated the decent water pressure in the shower, which was a nice way to start the day. Coffee in the morning was surprisingly good too! However, there were several drawbacks. I had to share one microwave with other guests in the common area, which was quite inconvenient. The cleaning didn't hit the mark. I noticed the room wasn't vacuumed properly and lacked basic items like toilet paper. Staff efficiency was a concern as well. even with the 'do not disturb' sign out, my rest was disrupted multiple times by housekeeping. The general safety atmosphere felt off, especially being a solo traveler. The location was a plus, with stores and restaurants nearby. Some staff were pleasant, but the initial check-in experience left a lot to be desired due to rudeness. A bit of care in maintenance and training staff could really elevate the experience here.
